LONG BEACH, Miss. – The Gulf Coast Library at The University of Southern Mississippi will present the free community workshop, “Using Electronic Books Online,” Thursday, Sept. 15, from 3-4 p.m. in the library room 213 on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

As part of the library's “60 Minutes to Success” initiative, this one-hour session will discuss how the world of books is changing. With more titles being offered in an electronic format, this workshop will show how to use NetLibrary to access this growing format.

All workshops are conducted by professional library staff and registration is not required. Most workshops rotate and will be held again throughout the fall semester. Other workshops include learning how to take tests online, learning how to use databases to search for grants, and learning how to use Microsoft Office.
