International exchange students from around the globe met this morning for orientation at The University of Southern Mississippi's Baptist Student Union as the fall semester gets underway on the Hattiesburg campus. The international students heard from faculty, staff and fellow students about university life, and received valuable information about registration, class schedules and the many academic, cultural and recreational opportunities available to them. Members of the Hattiesburg community were also on hand to welcome them to their new home away from home.
