Southern Miss Student Accepts Internship with U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker

University of Southern Mississippi student Amolie LeAnn Egloff of Diamondhead, Miss., a junior majoring in history and with a minor in political science, has accepted a summer internship with U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker(R-Miss.) in Washington, D.C. 

At Southern Miss, Egloff is a student in the university's prestigious Honors College, is a Luckyday Scholar, and has earned mention on the Dean's and President's Lists.

Egloff, a 2008 graduate of Bay High School, is an active member of several campus organizations, including Chi Omega sorority, serving as its secretary; Lambda Sigma Honor Society; and the USM Baseball Diamond Darlings.

She also serves as a volunteer for the DuBard School for Language Disordersat Southern Miss, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. With plans to go to law school after graduation, she is gaining valuable experience working as a clerk with the Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush law firm.
