Starkville Student Cast In Smokey Joes Cafe at Southern Miss

Trequon Tate of Starkville, Miss., was recently cast as Ken in the musical production, “Smokey Joe's Cafe” at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Tate, a junior theatre major, is the son of Karlos Tate of Starkville, Miss., and Tanya Outlaw of Starkville, Miss.
Smoky Joe's Café is a seven-time Tony Award-winning music revue based on old favorites from jazz and R&B musicians Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The performance features 11 cast members consisting of theatre and music students.
