Street work to begin on Hattiesburg campus Monday

Milling and paving of streets on The University of Southern Mississippi Hattiesburg campus will begin Monday, July 11.

This project includes College Drive to the area south of the M.M. Roberts Stadium and north of the School of Human Performance and Recreation building (HYPER), and the alley behind Hickman Hall. Motorists should expect detours, road closures and other traffic re-direction. The work on the streets is expected to last two days, during which time there will be limited access to East Memorial, with exit from this area detoured to West Memorial Plaza.
