Tupelo Student Cast In Smokey Joes Cafe at Southern Miss

Sara Plunkett of Tupelo, Miss., was recently cast as Pattie in the musical production, “Smokey Joe's Cafe” at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Plunkett, a senior theatre major, is the daughter of James and Brenda Plunkett of Tupelo, Miss. She is the wife of Hal Plunkett.
Smoky Joe's Café is a seven-time Tony Award-winning music revue based on old favorites from jazz and R&B musicians Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The performance features 11 cast members consisting of theatre and music students.
