Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation to Host Summit May 17

LONG BEACH, Miss. – Industry professionals working in logistics, trade and transportation are invited to attend the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) Summit Thursday, May 17, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the third floor of The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast Library on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The IAC Summit is presented by the university's Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation.
The summit will feature guest speaker Mississippi District 13 Senator and Chairman of the Highway and Transportation Committee, Willie Simmons, as he discusses game changing events in Mississippi transportation and economy. In addition to information updates on the Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation, Southern Miss administrators, including Gulf Coast Vice President and Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Frances Lucas, will welcome summit attendees.
