The Southern Miss men's basketball team will take on Kansas State in opening-round action of the NCAA Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 15. The following are pertinent questions and answers regarding the team's trip to Pittsburgh, Pa. for the contest.

Where and when is the sendoff party for the basketball team?
Answer
All fans are encouraged to greet the team as they leave Reed Green Coliseum at 12:30
p.m. on Tuesday on the East Side of the Coliseum. The team will leave at 12:45 p.m.

Will there be a Southern Miss viewing party in Hattiesburg?
Answer
Yes, beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings located at 3 Churchill
Street Hattiesburg, MS 39402 601-288-7777. All fans that enter Buffalo Wild Wings
from 11 a.m. until Noon will be given a Southern Miss pom poms. During breaks in the
action Southern Miss Sports Marketing will be giving away Southern Miss promotional
items including signed basketball posters, Black and Gold spring game tickets, Golden
Eagle Pride t shirts, and gift certificates.
