Lowrey Recipient of Presidential Scholarship at Southern Miss

Madeleine Lowrey of Sheridan, Ark. is the recipient of a prestigious Presidential Scholarship at The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where she plans to major in vocal performance. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Jennifer Lowrey of Sheridan.

Recipients of the Presidential Scholarship will have achieved an ACT score of 30 or higher and been admitted to the Southern Miss Honors College. The scholarship covers full-in state tuition, housing, meal plan and a semester book stipend for eight semesters. A regional Presidential Scholarship covers the full amount of out-of-state tuition for eight semesters.
