Thu, 02/23/2012 - 11:48am

The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security, located at The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, welcomes four media sponsors for its third annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition, set for July 31-Aug. 2 in New Orleans.

Security Magazine, Emergency Management, Campus Safety Magazine, and Panstadia focus on the common subject of the conference, safety and security management, within different emphasis areas. All sponsors will cover the three-day conference, which will incorporate the theme “Bridging the Gap between SAFETY and Security.” The event will include 64 exhibitors and more than 450 expected guests.

“The sponsors add a lot to the conference,” said Brett Reiter, NCS4 marketing coordinator. “They help us reach our target audience by promoting the conference on their websites and in their publications. We're glad to have four partners in four different segments.”

Security Magazine focuses on providing solutions for executives that manage risk and security solutions. Emergency Management, a publication of records, draws attention to natural disasters, epidemics, and terrorists attacks for emergency management, public safety and homeland security stakeholders.

Campus Safety's center of attention supplies support to police chiefs, security directors, IT personnel, emergency managers and administrators that serve hospitals, schools and universities. Produced quarterly, Panstadia is a journal that serves the international sports facility market with vital news, case studies, analysis, philosophies and practices employed within the industry.

Established in 2006, The National Center for Spectator Sports and Security specifically focuses on research, education, and outreach efforts in sport event security while providing an interdisciplinary academic environment to further increase sport security awareness, improve sport security policies and procedures and enhance emergency response through evacuation, recovery operations and crowd management training.
