NPRs Tippett Speaks at Gulf South Summit

Author and journalist Krista Tippett, host of National Public Radio's “Krista Tippett on Being” was the guest presenter for the final keynote presentation, ‘Civil Conversations” Friday, March 23 on the closing day of the Gulf South Summit on Service Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education, held at the Hattiesburg Convention Center. The summit, hosted by The University of Southern Mississippi, marked its 10^th anniversary this year and brought approximately 400 faculty members and support staff from 30-35 universities and colleges in the U.S. (Southern Miss photo by Kelly Dunn)
