Psychology Professor Wins Fundraiser Contest, Dresses Like Freud for a Day

LONG BEACH, Miss. – Dr. Michael Mong, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, was named the winner of the Psi Chi fundraiser, “Dress Like Freud for a Day.”
Members of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, sold tickets to students who wanted to vote for their favorite psychology professor to dress like the father of psychoanalysis, Dr. Sigmund Freud. Mong, who is required to remain in character throughout the day, is participating in Psi Chi's fundraiser where members hope to host a mental health fair next year.
