The University of Southern Mississippi chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Health Preprofessional Honor Society recently hosted a week-long book sale featuring the MedTutor program.

MedTutor offers a new and unique approach to teaching, learning and studying medical and health-related subjects such as anatomy, medical terminology and more through its website: MedTutor.com

Marketing associate Crystal Davis notes that students using the MedTutor suite of comprehensive learning devices can track their progress and identify problem areas on which to focus.

“MedTutor provides integrated educational and training resources for students, nurses, physicians and health care professionals utilizing books, posters and web-based interactive resources to introduce, simplify and reinforce complex medical information,” said Davis.

MedTutor is the brainchild of local Hattiesburg physician, Dr. Charles Henderson, who sought to create useful preparatory tools for medical studies.

AED is the National Health Proprofessional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and others. The Southern Miss chapter welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional health care career. For more information, visit: www.usm.edu/preprofessional
