The Sunrise Rotary Club of Hattiesburg presented the DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of Southern Mississippi with a check for $4,600 on Tuesday, June 1. The club recently hosted a 5K run/walk and chose to give the proceeds to DuBard School.

“The Sunrise Rotary Club's run/walk event was a great way to involve the community on behalf of the DuBard School,” said Dr. Maureen Martin, school director. “We are deeply grateful for the support which will help the school fulfill its mission of ‘giving the gift of oral and written language' to many children with communication disorders and the written language disorder of dyslexia.”
