Standing tall at nearly 60 feet and with limbs reaching out 155 feet, the Friendship Oak beckons all her visitors to marvel at the beauty of a tree whose life dates back over 500 years.

Located on The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach, the Friendship Oak is now commemorated through a special collection of products known as, “The Friendship Oak Collection.”

Available at the university's official bookstore, Barnes & Noble, the Friendship Oak Collection features a variety of products which include jewelry, drinkware, t-shirts, tote bags and picture frames, among other specialty items. As an historic landmark representative of the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach, the name and image of the Friendship Oak have been registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A custom-designed antique, pewter-finish holiday ornament with gift box is also available for purchase. Student organizations at the Southern Miss Gulf Park campus are selling the Friendship Oak holiday ornament as a fundraiser, which will also be available for purchase through the university's Barnes & Noble bookstore.

The Friendship Oak Collection can be purchased in-store at Barnes & Noble or online at www.shopsouthernmiss.com, where items can be shipped anywhere throughout the United States. Barnes & Noble is located in Hardy Hall near the Friendship Oak on the university's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.
