The public is invited to get all dolled up in dapper threads for a night on the town at the 2nd Annual DuBard School Speakeasy, on Friday, Oct. 3. This 1920's themed event is hosted by the DuBard School for Language Disorders, a United Way agency, at The University of Southern Mississippi.

This prohibition-era affair will feature 1920's inspired heavy hors d'oeuvres, an array of ‘giggle water' to imbibe in, live jazz performed by faculty and students of the Southern Miss Jazz Bands, and a photo booth for getting all dolled up. The central dance floor in the joint will set the stage for jivin', led by students in the Southern Miss Dance Department.

Tickets will need to be purchased in advance so guests can discover the various requirements needed for entry – such as a “secret” entrance and a password needed to get past the door.

The event will be held at the Trent Lott National Center at The University of Southern Mississippi from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Cocktail attire requested, 1920's dress recommended, dancing shoes highly encouraged. All are invited to attend. Tickets are all-inclusive for only $35.
