Gulf Coast Student Government Association to Host Event with Youngest State Legislator, Rep. Jeramey D. Anderson

The Student Government Association (SGA) at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host a “Dinner and Learn” event featuring State Representative Jeramey D. Anderson (D) who represents district 110 in Mississippi. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held Friday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. in the Hardy Hall University Club on the university's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

Rep. Anderson, whose district includes Moss Point and Pascagoula, became the youngest African American ever elected to Legislature in United States history. At age 22, Rep. Anderson is also the youngest member elected to the Mississippi Legislature.
