Institute for Disability Studies to Host Popsicles in the Park on Gulf Park Campus

The Institute for Disability Studies (IDS), located at the Technology Learning Center on The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach, will host “Popsicles in the Park” Monday, Aug. 25, from 3 – 5 p.m. The community is invited to enjoy a popsicle and check out the institute's Eaglet Town Playground, as well as facility tours of the IDS lending library.
IDS serves as Mississippi's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Research, Education and Service. The Institute's Technology Learning Center on the university's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach serves children and adults with disabilities through assistive technology, evaluation, consultation and recreation.
