Several members of the Southern Miss Activities Council (SMAC) attended the 2014 National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Convention Feb. 15-19, in Boston, Mass.

SMAC Vice President Rachael Luckett and events coordinator Elyssa Klipsch facilitated this year's convention presentation titled: “Transformation To The Top!” that highlighted the growth and branding opportunities that SMAC has undergone over the past year.

More than 150 NACA participants attended the session and several spoke of being better informed on how to develop their own transformation plan for their own programming boards afterward.

NACA is a professional organization and convention for campus activities including booking of artists, educational programming ideas and best practices, as well as professional and personal development opportunities.

SMAC members who attended the convention noted that they are excited to take advantage of the spectrum of ideas they received to improve programming at The University of Southern Mississippi.
