Southern Miss Army ROTC to Participate in Anti-Terrorism Training

Personnel from Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Forrest County will work with University of Southern Mississippi Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) cadets Thursday, Sept. 11 on the Hattiesburg campus in an annual anti-terrorism training session from 3-5:30 p.m.

The training will take place at the ROTC fitness training area, located between Reed Green Coliseum and Fraternity Row, and will include instruction for cadets in the principles of anti-terrorism and force protection. Additionally, cadets will learn about the characteristics of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
