Southern Miss Students, Alumna Competing in Miss Mississippi Pageant

Southern Miss will be well-represented at the Miss Mississippi Pageant July 9-12 in Vicksburg. Five University of Southern Mississippi students and a recent graduate of the school will be competing in the Miss Mississippi Pageant July 9-12. The event will be held at the Vicksburg Convention Center.

The contestants and their current title include:

*Miss University of Southern Mississippi: Kimberly Page

*Miss Meridian: Arielle Dale

*Miss Magnolia: Tamecia Myers (alumna)

*Miss Leaf River Valley: Dalee Kimble

*Miss Turtle Creek: Jordin Johnson

*Miss Midsouth: Bethany Cuevas (Southern Miss Gulf Coast)

“I know these young women will represent our university well in every aspect of the criteria used to judge contestants at the pageant,” said Southern Miss Associate Dean of Students Wynde Fitts. “They are accomplished in academics, leadership and community service, and I know they will make us proud.”
