The College of Nursing at The University of Southern Mississippi will begin a new era when the program moves into beautiful Asbury Hall, scheduled for completion in Spring of 2016. As part of this historic celebration, the College of Nursing has launched a Brick by Brick Campaign for Asbury Hall.

Friends and supporters of the University can join in the celebration by purchasing a brick paver that will ensure the buyer a piece of Southern Miss history. The $250 brick paver will serve as a unique way to recognize, or pay tribute, to a distinguished faculty member or deserving mentor, memorialize a loved one, celebrate a special event, or promote your business or organization.

Participants may personalize a message to be engraved on the brick paver, which will be installed at the entrance to Asbury Hall. This location will catch the attention of all who enter the magnificent facility.

The $31-million, state-of-the-art Asbury Hall will increase the square footage dedicated to the College of Nursing by 135 percent. The nursing program's new building will allow for an increase in nursing enrollment from the current 550 students to more than 800 and expand new programs in the College of Nursing through student interactive areas, an enlarged and enhanced clinical simulation lab, computer labs, and classrooms that will promote the acquisition of knowledge in a positive and interactive learning environment.
