Do you currently rent an apartment or house, or are you interested in renting or possibly owning a home? Do you want to learn the best ways to locate a rental house or apartment or the costs of being a renter? Do you want to know your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and the benefits of renting versus owning?

Answers to these questions and many more will be available during a free, two-hour renter education class sponsored by the Mississippi Home of Your Own program. The workshop is set for 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at the Multi-County Community Service Agency at 2900 Saint Paul in Meridian.

In its 18th year of service to Mississippians, HOYO is an award-winning program of The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies.  HOYO seeks to empower people to reach their individual dreams of owning and maintaining their own homes.
