Hattiesburg Mayor Proclaims March National Social Work Month

Hattiesburg Mayor Johnny DuPree, right, presented Dr. Tim Rehner, director of the School of Social Work at The University of Southern Mississippi, with a proclamation recognizing March 2015 as National Social Work Month on March 4. DuPree read the proclamation, “Social Work Paves the Way for Change,” to social work faculty. He urged the community to join with the National Association of Social Workers in celebration and support of the social work profession.
