Lee Keynote Speaker for Mississippi School Superintendents Convention

Dr. David Lee, associate professor of educational leadership in The University of Southern Mississippi College of Education and Psychology, will be the keynote speaker for the annual convention of the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents Monday, Jan. 25 in Jackson.

His presentation will focus on strategies for outstanding leadership and managing relationships with school boards.  Lee has researched correlations between school board behaviors and student achievement in the districts they govern.

Dr. Lee has been a principal, superintendent of schools, deputy state superintendent of education for the State of Louisiana, and a school board member. He also serves as a consultant across the country on leadership and motivation. To contact Dr. Lee, e-mail david.e.leeFREEMississippi.
