USM Doctoral Nursing Student Presents Poster at Annual Conference

Elise Jordan, of Baton Rouge, La., a doctoral student in The College of Nursing at The University of Southern Mississippi, presented her poster titled “Nurse Martyrdom: A Concept Analysis,” at the Annual Evidence-Based Practice/Research last month in New Orleans.
“Elise is a forward thinker whose work has the potential to change the nursing profession,” said Dr. Lachel Story, Assistant Dean for Research and Evaluation and PhD Program Director for The College of Nursing. “I am proud that the College of Nursing has such bright students and provides an environment to support student scholarship.”
