Macy Mitchell Wins Miss University of Southern Mississippi Scholarship Pageant

Macy Mitchell, a junior criminal justice major from Petal, Miss., was crowned winner of the Miss University of Southern Mississippi Scholarship Pageant Saturday, Oct. 7 on the Hattiesburg campus. Mitchell will advance to compete in the Miss Mississippi Pageant next year in Vicksburg. 

First alternate at the pageant was Brooke Bullock, a broadcast journalism major from Petal, Miss.; second alternate, Charli Cubbage, a communication studies and pre-med major from Lucedale, Miss.; and third alternate, Macken'z Smith, an audiology major from Philadelphia, Miss.
