SouthernCare Hospice Services Partners with USM Veterans Center

SouthernCare Hospice Services of Hattiesburg recently presented a financial gift to the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Center for Military Veterans, Service Members and Families to provide supplemental program funding to assist deserving student-veterans enrolled at the University. 

The gift was provided through the Grace Foundation, which is the charitable organization supporting SouthernCare Hospice in reaching out to local communities. The financial support provided by SouthernCare will be used to supplement the existing “Textbooks for Troops” program and further provide monies to support overall Student-Veteran support activities.

USM Speech-Language Instructor Chosen as Accreditation Site Visitor

Amy Rosonet-Lebert, clinical instructor in the School of Speech & Hearing Sciences at The University of Southern Mississippi, has been selected as a Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) site visitor for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
