Center for Pathway Experiences Hosts Internship Workshop

Dr. Robert Shindell was a featured guest speaker who led an interactive session for more than 22 employers at the Total Internship Management Workshop, held Aug. 22 at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) in Hattiesburg. The event was hosted by USM's Center for Pathway Experiences.  Dr. Shindell offered knowledge and resources needed to competitively recruit and effectively utilize interns. Company representatives attending were from Hattiesburg and the surrounding area, including Mobile, Ala.; Birmingham, Ala.; Tupelo, Miss.; Slidell, La.; and Covington, La.. Several government institution representatives were also in attendance.
