Jones Presents Research at Regional Conference

Dr. Rose Jones, assistant professor in The University of Southern Mississippi School of Education and an expert in early childhood education, shared her research at the annual Mid-South Educational Research Association (MSERA) conference, held Nov. 7-9 in Pensacola, Fla.
Dr. Jones presented her paper “A Review of the Literature: Investigating Play understanding,
effectiveness, needs, benefits, importance and play-based curriculum for young children
and pre-service teachers in higher education settings” at the conference.
The Mid-South Educational Research Association is a non-profit educational organization
whose purpose is to encourage quality educational research in schools. MSERA represents
seven states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee,
and Mississippi.
