Leaf River Fall Fests Series Concludes with Harvest Fest Oct. 27

The final concert in the WUSM-88.5 FM Leaf River Fall Fests series, Harvest Fest, is set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at Hattiesburg's Chain Park at Twin Forks. This free music event will bring rock, country and Texicana music to the Hub City beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is free.

Featured musical groups in the Harvest Fest lineup include the Lanna Wakeland Band; Royal Horses; Young Valley; and Silo Road. Local farmers and merchants of the Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market will be on hand offering their produce and products for purchase for this final concert in the series; attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Presented by the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation, WUSM's Leaf River Fall Fests are hosted by the radio station, The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) School of Communication, and the city of Hattiesburg.
