MSPA Fall High School Journalism Convention set for Oct. 25 on USM Hattiesburg Campus

The Mississippi Scholastic Press Association's (MSPA) Fall High School Convention will be held Thursday, Oct. 25 on The University of Southern Mississippi's Hattiesburg campus.
The event, hosted by the USM School of Communication, will feature a variety of informative breakout sessions throughout the day on topics ranging from sports reporting to yearbook photography, among many others.
Howard Ballou, a longtime reporter and news anchor for WLBT-TV in Jackson, Miss. will be the convention's keynote speaker. USM School of Communications Professor Dr. David R. Davies, along with MSPA Director R.J. Morgan, will be on hand to welcome convention guests.
