Pre-Law Week Set for Sept. 17-21

University of Southern Mississippi (USM) students interested in pursuing a legal career after graduation are invited to free events offered during Pre-Law Week Sept. 17-21 on the Hattiesburg campus. Pre-Law Week is sponsored by the Legal Studies Program in USM's School of Social Science and Global Studies.

The week's schedule is as follows:

Monday, Sept. 17
*Constitution Day, Cook Library lobby, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
*Law School Application Event, Owings-McQuagge Hall, room 102, 1:15-2:45 p.m.
*“Pop Goes the Lawyer: The Practice of Law in Pop Culture," Liberal Arts Building, room 103, 3-4 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

*Mock Law School Class, Liberal Arts Building, room 204, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
*Recent Grad Panel, Liberal Arts Building, room 109, 3-4:15 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

*Law School Fair, Thad Cochran Center Atrium, second floor, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
*Lawyer Roundtable, Liberal Arts Building, room 103, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 20

*Keynote address, Liberal Arts Building, room 102, 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 21

*Paralegal Roundtable, Liberal Arts Building, room 103, 8:30 – 11 a.m.
*Practice LSAT, Liberal Arts Building, room 109, 1-4 p.m.
