USM Baseball, Softball Teams to Host Annual Trick or Treat Event on Oct. 30

Expected rainy weather in the Pine Belt Thursday has forced Southern Miss Athletic officials to move the date of Trick or Treat at The Pete to next Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 5:30-7 p.m. The event will take place at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
The sixth annual event was supposed to take place, Oct. 25, but the high percentage of rain precipitated the change of date.
The event will take place in the main concourse of the facility, as well as on the game field, and children of all ages are welcome to come out in their best Halloween costumes and enjoy Trick or Treat festivities with the Southern Miss baseball and softball players and coaches. Each Golden Eagle squad will be in their favorite Halloween costumes during the event.
In addition, there will be Halloween-themed games during the event, prizes for the best costumes, and candy for all the Trick or Treaters.
