Media Advisory: USM to Host Annual Economic Outlook Forum Thursday

WHAT: Economic Outlook Forum at USM

WHEN: 10:30 a.m., - 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019

WHERE: USM's Thad Cochran Center, Hattiesburg campus

SPECIFICS: Economic trends and forecasts will be the focal point for the Economic Outlook 2019 Forum hosted by The University of Southern Mississippi on Thursday. The USM College of Business and Economic Development, along with the Trent Lott National Center, is coordinating the annual forum that brings together experts from banking, finance, and academia to explore a number of issues and research related to the economic outlook for 2019.

The forum, sponsored by The First  - A National Banking Association, is set for 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at USM's Thad Cochran Center ballroom.

Guest speakers include:

-Adrienne Slack, Vice-President and Regional Executive with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, New Orleans Branch

-Darrin Webb, State Economist for Mississippi
