Transcripts

An official transcript is the reproduction of a complete, unabridged permanent academic record validated with the university seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue. A key to the transcript is included, which contains a full statement of pertinent definitions.

Transcripts are not released when there is a financial hold on student account.

Requesting a Transcript

  • Currently Active Students: Via student SOAR account - Student Homepage > Grades and Transcripts > Official Transcript
  • Former or Inactive Students: Via the web at transcripts.usm.edu

Southern Miss alumni applying to Southern Miss Graduate School DO NOT need to request a transcript via Transcripts Plus (transcripts.usm.edu).
