Page Content

The Mississippi Person Centered Practices Institute (MS-PCPI) is a partnership between the Mississippi Division of Medicaid and the USM School of Social Work. The primary objective of MS-PCPI is to train professionals from Home and Community-Based Medicaid Waiver programs on person centered thinking and person centered plan facilitation to assist them in supporting persons with disabilities and older adults in Mississippi.

MS-PCPI trainers are certified by The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices to conduct:
   • Person Centered Thinking (PCT) Workshops
   • Person Centered Plan Facilitation Workshops
   • PCT Trainer Mentor Consultations

A series of advanced person-centered workshops are also offered to meet specific agency needs. Click here for more information on person centered practices.

For more information on MS-PCPI, administrators and professionals of the Mississippi Division of Medicaid's Home and Community-Based Waiver services should contact MS-PCPI Program Director, Courtney Williams, at courtney.williamsFREEMississippi.
