March 1 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Cocktails and Conversations at SOPRO with Staff Council. Come join us for free appetizers and learn network with your soon to be favorite staff members on campus!
March 1- March 5: Double Good Popcorn fundraiser. Contact a Staff Council member to place your order.
April 4 - (Members Only): Meeting at Stennis with private tour, lunch, and time at the NASA gift shop. Don't forget to complete the RSVP form in your email for gate access to enter the site.

Eagle Fest 2024 on March 23rd: Eagle Fest is an annual event held each spring as a second homecoming for past, present, and potential Golden Eagles alike. Student representatives are on hand to introduce their organizations to prospective students and their parents. Tours of the campus are given, and the Golden Eagles baseball team hosts a weekend series. They need volunteers from the university to come and mingle with guests. All you would do is wear a Southern Miss shirt/polo and your nametag and interact with our guests. That’s it! Founders Day Birthday Party, March 26: Sign up to hang out with current students, faculty, and staff in Spirit Park, while celebrating Southern Miss Founders Week.
The Big Event on Saturday, April 27, 2024: In need of site leads to assist with over 400 volunteer slots for students across 30 service sites in Hattiesburg. Student volunteer registration will open soon. This is the sign-up for faculty/staff site leads. You can see which sites still need a lead.
