Based on nominations submitted in June 2023, the following individuals have been appointed to serve on the Strategic Plan Steering Committee:

The Charge

The Steering Committee’s charge is three-fold:

  1. Refine and implement the model recommended by the Institutional Planning Working Group last spring;
  2. From a functional perspective, organize committee work and stakeholder engagement and execute the work within established timeline benchmarks; and
  3. From a strategic perspective, review potential goals developed by Subcommittees; consider established cross-cutting themes; and recommend collective institutional goals, strategies, and measures of success to University leadership for consideration.

In addition, the charge for each Subcommittee Chair includes:

  1. From a functional perspective, organize and synthesize input from internal and external stakeholders related to the Subcommittee’s area of focus; and
  2. From a strategic perspective, develop potential goals related to the Subcommittee’s area of focus; consider established cross-cutting themes; and recommend the most compelling institutional goals, strategies, and measures of success to the Steering Committee for collective consideration.
