1. How much time do I have between receiving my exchange rate quote from Convera and visiting my local bank?
Quoted exchange rates are valid for 72 hours from the time you submit your request. You will need to take your payment instructions sheet to your bank in order for them to perform the funds transfer to USM.
2. What is the maximum amount I am allowed to send?
USM permits you to transfer the total current balance of your student account, which includes tuition, housing, meal plan and any other miscellaneous charges. Check your SOAR account for more information regarding your current balance. Payments received in excess of the amount billed may be placed as deposit for an upcoming semester or returned to sender.
