Cintas Business Student Ambassador Program
The Cintas Business Student Ambassadors strive to promote excellence, unity, and service
in the College of Business & Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi
through representation, recruitment, service, and facilitation. Ambassadors play a
critical role in recruiting prospective students, engaging current students, fostering
alumni relations, and maintaining sound relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as hosts and hostesses at campus events
Assist at off-campus events
Assist the Dean’s Office with various business events
Provide tours of Scianna Hall to guests and prospective students
Engage in fundraising and community service activities
Assist in recruiting prospective students
Assist in engaging current students
Interact with alumni, corporate partners and guests
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a degree program in the College of Business & Economic Development
Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester
Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must commit to a minimum of one full year as an Ambassador
Preferred Qualifications
Be able to speak to their experiences in the College of Business & Economic Development
and Southern Miss
Be well-rounded and a positive role model to prospective and new students
Have strong public speaking skills
Be able to lead a small group and work one on one with other students
Have the ability to positively present the attributes of the College of Business &
Economic
Development and Southern Miss
Demonstrate the ability to interact with diverse groups
Demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, dependability, open-mindedness, and self
confidence
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Have efficient time management skills and the ability to adapt to change
Have strong communication skills within teams
