Fall First Week

Rebranded from its previous name of Faculty First Week, in its sixth year, Fall First Week provides time for colleges and schools to meet, engage with campus resources, and learn from one another’s expertise as we prepare for the academic year ahead.

This year’s fall program will see some other updates. All professional development sessions will be housed in a half-day Educators’ Retreat on the morning of Monday, August 19th. The Center for Faculty Development also will host two weeks of virtual workshops during the weeks of July 29th and August 5th in our Prepare, Plan, and Engage series that will include sessions focused on strategies, tools, and innovative ideas with time to integrate into your fall courses.
