Wednesday, October 16th

Sturkey will speak at the Eureka School Museum (located at 410 E. 6th Street) at 6 p.m. His talk title that evening is "Hattiesburg-An American City in Black and White." 

 

Thursday, October 17th

Sturkey will speak at 3 p.m. in IC (International Center) 101. His talk title that afternoon is "A Way of Life: Race and Capital in the Hub City of the New South."

Dr. Rekha Nath

(Associate Professor of Philosophy, University of Alabama)

 

Tuesday, November 5th

Dr. Nath will speak at 6 p.m. in IC 101. The title of her talk is “A War on Obesity or a War on Fat People? On the Injustice of Sizism.”
