This network is for all USM faculty, staff, and students. Guests from reciprocating eduroam institutions may also access this network for unrestricted Internet access. This network has no connection timeouts and unrestricted bandwidth.
USM Public
This network is for unaffiliated visitors. There are restrictions that limit the bandwidth to 2Mbps, requiring users to acknowledge terms and conditions through a web browser when connecting and comes with a 4-hour session timeout.

by following these simple steps:

Students with gaming devices - Students will use SOAR to enter devices and the MAC address for each device.
The Southern Miss network is available 24/7, except for scheduled maintenance periods.
