Middle School Mini Nature Camp: Herpetology

Who: Rising 6th through 8th Grade Students

Cost: $75, Friends of Lake Thoreau: $67

Frogs, Salamanders, Turtles, Lizards, and Snakes! Oh my! Join us as we learn about the reptiles and amphibians that live in south Mississippi!  We will interact with live animals explore our research collection.  Campers will meet wildlife professionals that study and protect reptiles and amphibians in Mississippi.

This camp is a day camp that meets at Lake Thoreau Environmental Center. We will take field trips in USM vehicles to visit local sites. Check-in will be between 7:30 and 8:30 A.M., and checkout  will occur between 4:45 and 5:30 P.M.
