Hometown: Abita Springs, LA

Degrees: B.A. - Psychology; Southeastern Louisiana University

Research Interests: Behavioral and academic interventions, functional behavior assessments, applied behavior analysis, group contingencies, developmental disabilities and early intervention

Future Goals: Licensed psychologist in private practice, school system, or hospital

Why I chose USM: "My previous supervisor first introduced USM’s School Psychology Program to me because its strong behavioral orientation matched the training and clinical experience I was receiving from her.  In addition, I choose this program because of its scientist-practitioner training model, which provides students with an abundance of experiences in applied practice, research and professional activities."

What I like best about USM's school psychology program: "My favorite part about being a student in this program is being able to directly apply the specialized behavior analytic training and supervision I receive on campus, to the field-and-clinic-based experiences available to me. Additionally, being a student in this program allows me to work with highly skilled professors along with a supportive group of fellow students."

Interesting fact about me: I once owned a cat that was able to flush the toilet and flip the light switch up and down. "
