shell after training is completed.

generously provided The University of Southern Mississippi with funds to award gap
scholarships to junior and senior students navigating financial hardship so that they
can stay enrolled and persist towards graduation.

Southern Miss faculty and instructors, are you canceling class or looking for a success skills presentation for your class? Good news, we have an APP for that!
The Center for Student Success is offering the Absent Professor Program (APP) to professors
who would like to use some or all of their class time for a success presentation.
A representative from CSS can be requested to present an academic success topic in
your absence or during a designated lecture for your class.

The Campus Action Referral and Evaluation System (CARES) includes a team of campus professionals who quickly connect students to resources that address student concerns related to both academics and health, including, but not limited to:
- self-harm
- family difficulties
- stress management
- mental health concerns
- addictions
- Code of Conduct violations
- Title IX issues
- Clery Act related issues
- issues of academic integrity (e.g. plagiarism)
