We offer services for children, adolescents, USM college students, and adults including individual, child, family, couples, and group therapy, comprehensive diagnostic evaluations/assessments, and consultation in various areas including school and Head Start consultation, parent training, systems change, and select pre-employment screenings/evaluations.

Therapy Services      

We offer the following individual adult and child/adolescent, couples, family, and group therapy services:

  • Academic success (e.g., time management; increasing skills such as studying, reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing, math)
  • Anger management
  • Career and educational goals
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy for other specific psychological disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder
  • Consultations for issues related to chronic illness
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy for adults and adolescents in group and individual formats
  • Employment and vocational difficulties
  • Family concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Attention and behavioral problems
  • Major life transitions
  • Parent Child Interactive Therapy
  • Parent training
  • Relationship and interpersonal issues
  • School consultations
  • Social skills groups
  • Treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities
  • Treatment for Tic Disorders including Tourette’s
  • Applied Behavior Analysis

Evaluation/Assessment Services

We offer adult and child/adolescent psychological, diagnostic evaluations in the following areas:

  • General comprehensive evaluations to understand differential diagnostic impressions (such as depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders or disabilities)
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Academic difficulties including learning disorders
  • Family and school-related problems
  • Gifted testing
  • Personality assessment
  • Career interest testing and vocational assessment
  • Alcohol and drug evaluations
  • Pre-employment psychological evaluation for Public Safety officers (no self-referrals; referrals from police departments or specifically contracted services only

The clinic is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
