The USM Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) mission is to increase access to quality mental health care by providing affordable, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, adults, USM college students, in South Mississippi; training competent and ethical psychologists and mental health counselors in evidenced-based best practice; and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge research.
Our training center is committed to providing culturally-sensitive care for all members of our community. The USM Center for Behavioral Health is the premier behavioral health clinical training facility in the Gulf South region and offers state-of-the-art training experiences for graduate students in the accredited graduate programs in counseling, clinical, and school psychology. We have a commitment to providing the most current, evidence-based services supported by scientific research. All graduate student clinicians are supervised by licensed psychologists.
