The USM Behavioral Health Clinic mission is to increase access to quality mental health care by providing affordable, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, adults, USM college students, in South Mississippi; training competent and ethical psychologists and mental health counselors in evidenced-based best practice; and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge research.
Our training clinic is committed to providing culturally-sensitive care for all members of our community. The USM Behavioral Health Clinic is the primary training site for graduate students in the accredited graduate programs in counseling, clinical, and school psychology. We have a commitment to providing the most current, evidence-based treatments supported by scientific research. All graduate student clinicians are supervised by licensed psychologists.
