Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code at USM is an inclusive student organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech. We provide workshops, coding activities, project opportunities, and connections with industry professionals. Our mission is to support female, non‑binary, and all interested students by offering resources, events, and career opportunities to help them grow in the technology field.

Google Developer Club 

This student chapter of the Google Developer Student Clubs is open to students in any major with an interest in developer technologies. Provides an opportunity to develop new skills through workshops and other activities.

Louis Stokes Mississippi Alliance for Minority Participation @ USM 

The purpose of the LSMAMP program at USM is to broaden and increase the number of STEM graduates who are prepared to make a positive impact in graduate school and/or the STEM workforce.  Any interested student in a STEM major is invited to apply.

Robotics and Intelligent Machines Club 

Participate in robotics and intelligent machines activities including robotics competitions, presentations, and collaborations with other organizations. Open to students in any major.

Women in Cybersecurity 

WiCyS is a community of women in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry. The WiCyS student chapter activities raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and careers in cybersecurity. Open to students in any major with an interest in learning more about cybersecurity.
