ACM Student Chapter

The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society.  ACM is committed to advancing the art, science, engineering, and application of information technology, 
fostering the open interchange of information to serve both professionals and the public, and promoting the highest professional and ethical standards. Open to students in any major with an interest in computing and technology.

IEEE Student Chapter

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest technical professional organization for advancement of technology with a goal of fostering technological innovation and excellence to benefit humanity. Membership is open to students majoring in one of IEEE designated fields: Engineering, Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Physical Sciences, Biological and Medical Sciences, Mathematics, Technical Communications, Education, Management, and Law and Policy.

Google Developer Club 

This student chapter of the Google Developer Student Clubs is open to students in any major with an interest in developer technologies. Provides an opportunity to develop new skills through workshops and other activities.

Louis Stokes Mississippi Alliance for Minority Participation @ USM 

The purpose of the LSMAMP program at USM is to broaden and increase the number of highly competent, globally astute URM STEM graduates who are prepared to make a positive impact in graduate school and/or the STEM workforce within the state of Mississippi and the nation.  Open to students in any STEM major.

Robotics and Intelligent Machines Club 

Participate in robotics and intelligent machines activities including robotics competitions, presentations, and collaborations with other organizations. Open to students in any major.

Women in Cybersecurity 

WiCyS is a community of women in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry. The WiCyS student chapter activities raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and careers in cybersecurity. Open to students in any major with an interest in learning more about cybersecurity.
